HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PECKKHEE! <3okay. the holiday was short lived but it was FUN! (: like super fun. lol.
THURSDAYwent to the Airport, T1. had dinner at some chinese noodle store thing and met the rest of the people there. then we checked in (

2 an hour before take off. which was quite late. cause the server was down for one of the counters and they had to merge lines. waited like HOURS before we went in. Air asia man. :O malaysia's budget airlines. oh boy.
Then it's time for us to board the plane. this is how budget airlines work.

really. lol. sat with my neighbour through the 2 hour ride. i was like doodling on a sheet of paper for the entire ride. arrived at the airport at around... uhm...12 midnight. lols. then we went to the arrival place where we found the dude who was holding the name thang.
arrived at LE MERIDIEN hotel somewhere in the city. checked in and unpacked in the hotel room. and used the computer while the rest of the people were like out for early breakfast/ supper.
1ST OFFICIAL DAYWoke up. Bright and Early for island hopping. whatever that is. lol. had breakfast somewhere then took taxi the Jesselton Point. where we took the boat to the nearby islands for fun (:
the Boat we took was like going full speed at... 100 horse power. lol super super fun. reached the first island (Sapi Island?) then some of the adults went snorkeling then the 6 kiddies (me, my sisters, & my neighbours) went for fly fish.
something like that. the dude was like going SUPER FAST (300 horsepower) and we were like, clinging on for our LIVES (okay not really) before our turn, there was this china couple who went first. the dude was like super funny. he didn't know english so we had to translate it to them. haha. [We told the boat driver to make the man cry :O]
after one round (there were 3) the driver will stop and ask if there were fine. when he asked them, the china dude was like "HARDER HARDER!" and me and my friends thought : why the HELL is he saying harder. when he kept saying that on ALL the rounds, it started to get a little bit catchy :O then later we all started screaming HARDER HARDER! for fun. xD
when everyone had their turn, we went back to the island and then we fed the fishes. yummy promphet fishes. Our boat driver came later to pick us up to go to the next island. some random island which name i forgot.
it was quite boring there but it was bigger. had lunch and then it started drizzling. we hecked the rain and went snorkeling. i swear i can't STAND snorkeling. i see a bit of fish and i start screaming. i think i have LIVE-FISH-O-PHOBIA as well. i wonder how i'll survive krabi next week.
had dinner at some seafood restaurant then we HOTEL-ED
2ND DAY!Rise and Shine. we went for breakfast then took a big (private) bus to the Mt. Kinabalu. on the way there, they showed us a video and explained the history of the "youngest non-volcanic mountain" (i think). the guide said that the people believed that when they die, their spirits will live on Mt. Kinabalu (directly translating it, it means 'Grandfather's something') First we went to the market to buy some souvenirs. i bought presents! lols. anyway after that, we went to the botanical trail thing. something like bukit timah trail but better (duh)
then we finally went to the Poring Hot Springs for Canopy walk and Hot spring. The canopy walk was FUN! climbed like a hell lot until we were all sweating then we finally went to cross the 5 bridges. (Btw the Bridge was made out of Ladders and Wood. plus nets to prevent you from falling. walked past everything then went back down. Joined the rest of the people at the hot spring (my legs were red after that) then my family went to see the Rafflesia. I couldn't smell no smelly stench D: but anyhow, i'll post pictures up next time.
Met up with the rest and then it was time to go down the mountain. i didn't sleep. looked at the foggy outsides of everything and it started raining [It rains there EVERYDAY without fail. if it's not in the morning, then it's in the afternoon, if not in the night but it WILL rain] the roads were like blocked with fog and it was SUPER cool. i only slept during the last 30 minutes of traveling. after that, we had dinner at the nearby japanese restaurant. ate 'till i was SUPER full. then went to xinying's room to watch Casper Scare School on Disney channel (oh yes they have it!) and then chatted with quin on MSN (FREE INTERNET!) then sleeeeeep. ZzZ...
LAST DAYSlept in. Woke up, Breakfast ( i hate pratas ) then we went swimming, the jacuzzi was SUPER nice! Jonelle came and join us and Gordon too. [mind you they're 15months old and 3 years old respectively] Jonelle was very cute. she didn't mind the hot water at all. after that bathed then we went for lunch. then we went to the airport 2 hours early [KIASU SINGAPOREAN!] KFC-ed and then we checked in. just on time. it was raining heavily and Air Asia really thought this through. they loaned us UMBRELLAS. -.- [You're supposed to like, walk to the aeroplane, climb up the stairs into it. not like singapore] in the end we were all SOAKED but it's a first. arrived at singapore around 9pm and then we HOMED. and watch meet the robinsons. i swear that's my 2nd favourite disney show. right after Ratatouille. i dunno why. lols. okay now my sister is bugging me for the com. and i'm a nice person so i shall let her use it.
i shall repeat this too. i will post the pictures as soon as i have my hands on them *laughs maniacally*.
